FORMER Gala Fairydean forward Stuart Noble set up one goal and scored another as Alloa Athletic defeated Cowdenbeath 2-1 to go top of the table last night (Tuesday).
The Recreation Park side leapfrogged Cowdenbeath to grab top spot in the Scottish Football League Second Division thanks to goals from ex-Celtic striker Bryan Prunty and Noble.
Paul McQuade pulled one back for the away side but the Wasps held on to put themselves in pole position in the title race.
