Hibs footballer has a Gala day

Hibs footballer Danny Galbraith presents Aaron Millburn with his award.
WHILST there may not have been the vuvuzelas or the dodgy goalkeeping, the Galadean JFC presentation night on had all the skills and passion of the South African World Cup.
Over 130 kids from the Galashiels area took part in the club's showpiece end of the season event with each child receiving an award for their efforts during the season from Hibernian player Danny Galbraith.
Head coach Wullie Simpson praised all of the youngsters for their commitment and effort during the past year and thanked the coaches, parents and volunteers who help keep the club running.
He also thanked all of the sponsors, who despite difficult economic circumstances have kindly donated money towards the running of the club. In particular he expressed the club's appreciation towards Simon Gillie of SPG Security Systems Ltd for extending strip sponsorship for another three years.
Special awards were presented to the Under 12 team who have completed their final year at the club and have performed magnificently during their time at Galadean. The team's final appearances in the club colours will come when they compete in a Football Festival in Ireland later in the summer.
Additional awards were presented to the following players by Galashiels lad Danny Galbraith, who was thanked for taking the time to attend the event.
Awards were Players Player of the Year, Under 8's - Graeme Clark; Under 9's - Jack Noble; Under 10's - Jack Temple; Under 11's - Connor Hook; Under 12's - Alexander Simpson.
Most Improved Player of the Year, Under 8's - Blair Turner; Under 9's - Tom Church; Under 10's - Cammy Dalgleish; Under 11's - Lucy Henderson; Under 12's - Mark Mathieson.
Coaches Player of the Year, Under 8's- Harry Green; Under 9's- Connor Shepherd; Under 10's - Ben Swan; Under 11's - Morgan Turner and Danny Howard; Under 12's - Tommy Patterson.
