Hawick Waverley will travel to Innerleithen next month to face 2010/11 and 2011/12 winners Leithen Rovers in the first semi.

And Paul Young’s Stow are waiting on the winners of the Terregles and Carluke quarter final.

Young told us: “Stow have never won the South Cup and it would be great for us to make history.

“We are out the running for the league now so we can focus on getting through the semi-final. It would be a great achievement for us to reach the final.” Leithen Rovers gave up the lead three times in their quarter-final against Musselburgh on Saturday, needing two late goal from Alan 'Speedy’ McMath to reach the semi-final stages.

Rovers boss Paul Graham hailed hat-trick hero McMath and hopes the striker can fire his team towards yet another South Cup victory.

Graham said: “His work-rate is tremendous and despite being small he’s great in the air.

“I have won the South Cup twice as a manager and I’d love to have it for a third time. With players like Speedy you know you have a chance.

“The semi-finals are in Innerleithen, which gives us a slight advantage, but we still have to apply ourselves properly.”
