A CRUNCH cricket meeting will take place tonight after Kelso failed to turn up for the last final of the season.
The Tweedsiders were due to face Gala at Meigle Park on Saturday to contest the 20/20 Border Cup Final.
But home captain Stephen Halls received a phone call in the run-up to the match to be told Kelso weren't coming because of the rain.
And it is unknown whether a replay will be ordered.
Gala have already won the Border League and Border League Cup - narrowly beating Kelso both times.
Neil Crooks, secretary of Gala Cricket Club, told the Border Telegraph: "It would have been good to end the season with a third trophy.
"It's the first time the club has been in a position to win three titles.
"We don't know what is going to happen - it's now up to the Border League."
