Brash jumps for joy after winning Gold at Olympics
LOCAL showjumper Scott Brash became the latest member of Team GB to claim a gold medal at London 2012 this afternoon.
Brash, from Peeblesshire, along with Nick Skelton, Ben Maher and Peter Charles, won the gold after a nerve-wraking jump-off this afternoon against the Netherlands team.
They took the team title - the first time Great Briatin had claimed gold since 1952.
Brash has also qualified for the individual showjumping event on Wednesday after finishing in the top 35 riders aboard his horse Hello Sanctos.
