GALASHIELS Academy recently played Peebles High School at the Academy. It was an excellent morning of hockey and all the girls were a credit to the school. The parent council did a fantastic job of selling teas, coffee and tray bake. It was great to see so many parents down supporting the hockey.
The Academy won all their games: 1st X1 5-1, S3 7-0, S2 5-2 and S1s won 6-0, and 4-1. Pictured are the S1 and S2 hockey teams with their new goal keeping equipment, bought with fundraising money.
