Queensferry 0  Earlston 82

STRAIGHT from the kick off scrappy McNeil mad a break from his own 22 and scored under the posts with Scotty Bell adding the conversion.

It was a taste of what was to come as the visitors ran in an unanswered 13 tries during a one-sided contest.

After 20 minutes Earlston won good turnover ball and with some great handling skills between forwards and backs, and a great offload by Jamie Simpson, Bell ran in for the second score in the corner kick.

Just two minutes later some good play by the backs sent Kris Rowley over. Bell's conversion stretched the lead.

Then just on half time, and not to be outdone by his brother, James Rowley broke through the Queensferry defence to touch down under the posts. The conversion gave Earlston a handsome 26-0 lead at the interval.

The second half started off slowly but on the 13 minute mark Craig Lawrie scored in the corner after some good interplay.

Straight from the restart McNeil made another great break from own 22 to pass to Bell who scored and converts.

Man of the match McNeil made another break to send Kris Rowley into the corner.

After some good work in the ruck, Darren Cessford won good turnover ball and the passes were whipped along the backline for Craig Lawrie to score.

Kris Rowley grabbed his hat-trick a few minutes later before substitute Chris Rodgerson madea break from scrum half to score another.

Then straight from kick off Kris Rowley scored his fourth, and probably the pick of the bunch. After collecting the ball he made a good break and after a deft little chip gathered the ball to score.

Next game for Earlston is at home to Edinburgh Uni Medics.
