FORMER Hawick lock Scott MacLeod has been called into the Scotland squad for their two Test summer tour of Argentina.
MacLeod, 31, who won the last of his 21 caps on the corresponding tour two years ago, will bring the squad up to a full complement of 28.
Scotland head coach Andy Robinson said: "Scott has worked hard on improving his game at Edinburgh this past season and he will have a further opportunity to get better in Argentina."
MacLeod's fellow lock Nathan Hines, formerly of Galashiels, is unable to tour due to a family bereavement.
MacLeod's call-up to the national team means that his Edinburgh team-mate, Scott Newlands, 24, will now take part in Scotland A's defence of the IRB Nations Cup in Bucharest next month.
