SELKIRK has confirmed that Ross Armstrong will be playing his rugby at Philiphaugh next season.

There had been speculation that the centre, who had been out for a long time with injury, would return to Hawick.

However, Rugby Director Dennis Henderson confirmed on Monday that Armstrong would be a central part of his team. Meanwhile, former Selkirk player and Edinburgh and Border Reivers hooker, Sean Crombie, has joined Boroughmuir.
