THE Borders will be well represented at the home of Scottish rugby on national finals day.
Hawick will play Boroughmuir for the BT Cup, while St Boswells play GHK in the BT Shield.
Boroughmuir are coached by former Gala player Bruce Aitchison and another former Maroon, flanker Craig Keddie, scored a try in the 21-18 win over Glasgow Hawks to help secure the city side’s first BT Cup final in a decade.
Meanwhile, St Boswells waited until the final kick of their semi-final game at home to North Berwick to secure their place in the BT Shield final. Dean McCracken scored with a late penalty to earn a 12-10 victory - a year after they were kicked out of the competition.
