HAMILTON and Hibs will complete a famous five of pre-season friendlies for Selkirk.

The Yarrow Park club have secured three SPL teams and a further two SFL sides for warm-up matches over the next six weeks.

East Fife begin the glamour show on July 10 before Albion Rovers arrive the following Saturday.

A Hibs team will visit Selkirk on Monday, July 26, with a Rangers reserve team playing on the Yarrow Park ground two days later.

And Paul Brownlee's team's final friendly will be against Hamilton on Monday, August 9.

Club chairman Jim Moody is delighted with the summer fixture list. He told us: "We are all really excited about all five of the teams coming to play us.

"We have built up good relationships with East Fife and Albion Rovers, and we are honoured that Hibs have agreed to come back down after playing us last summer.

"Having Hamilton and Rangers is just an added bonus. One of Hamilton's board members was down at our Scottish Cup game against Irvine Meadow and he promised to send his team down - he's been good to his word and we're really looking forward to playing them."
