BAXTERS Selkirk store is set to host a special Festive Fun weekend next Saturday and Sunday, November 28 and 29.

And to celebrate, we have £200 worth of store vouchers to giveaway inside this week's Border Telegraph.

Designed to kick off the season in style, the two day event sees Santa arrive at his grotto in-store and includes a new Breakfast with Santa event, free craft sessions where children can design their own Christmas cards, a Santa's Hat Hunt around the store with a free goodie bag for every entrant as well as an in-store Snowball Challenge.

The store will also be showcasing its product ranges for Christmas with food and drink tastings from the Baxters range as well as other speciality suppliers from the Borders and beyond. Baxters' Selkirk store is brimming with festive fayre including exclusive food products from the Audrey Baxter range, and Scottish speciality gift and homeware for the Christmas period. The store's Family Kitchen Restaurant will be serving up a new winter menu.

Santa will be in his grotto each weekend from November 28 until Christmas with the store's Breakfast with Santa events also running on the same days. There will be late night shopping until 8pm on Thursday, December 3, 10 and 17.

Lynne Dickson, Assistant manager at Baxters, Selkirk, said: "Our store is a foodie paradise all year round but is particularly special at Christmas when it is packed with delicious treats and gift ideas for the whole family. Our in-store events will add a real festive feel for shoppers so we look forward to spreading some Baxters seasonal cheer to all our customers."

The Baxters Family Fun weekend at Dunsdalehaugh, Selkirk runs on Saturday and Sunday, November 28 and 29, from 10am until 4.30pm.
