FRIGHTENED Rabbit have finally been confirmed on the bill at T in the Park, as revealed in the Border Telegraph earlier this month.

The Selkirk band, who played Glastonbury at the weekend, will play The King Tuts Wah Wah Tent on Saturday, July 10.

They will perform in between chart-toppers Kate Nash and We Are Scientists, while sharing the stage with X Factor star Diana Vickers, The Coral and headliners Mumford & Sons.

If follows their debut at the festival in a packed T Break tent two years ago and signals their arrival on the big stage.

Frightened Rabbit, who have just returned from a sold-out tour of America, will be joined by the Editors in the weekend line-up.

The bands met when they supported Snow Patrol at their show in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, earlier this month.

Hundreds of revellers from the Borders are expected to converge on Balado for T in the Park 2010. Muse, Eminem and Kasabian will headline the three-day festival, which attracts 85,000 music lovers, from Friday, July 9 to Sunday, July 11.
