IT'S all getting quite spooky at Traquair this year with some ghostly and magical goings on this Halloween.

The Halloween experience includes a new Ghost Tour of Traquair, with characters from Traquair's past brought to life and some haunting surprises as you tour the house by candlelight on Friday and Saturda, October 28 and 29.

Then, on Sunday 30th October, Traquair hosts the Halloween Castle of Magic, when four of Scotland's leading magicians will be performing throughout the house performing astonishing feats and extraordinary illusions.

This is an entirely new event where you will be able to walk through the house and meet the characters as well as watch shows in the Library, Dining Room and High Drawing Room.

The magicians include Kramus Nexifus (photo attached), the Magical Wizard (Mark Fisken)- a sorcerer and storyteller. Pyschic detective Inspector McCleod (Colin McLeod)- mind reader and mentalist. Vincent (Paul Dabek)- flamboyant illusionist & entertainer and Dr Pitcairn,(Alex Proctor) conjurer and alternative physician.

All the magicians are members of the Magic Circle and you may recognise them from regular TV and Edinburgh Festival appearances.

In addition to the magic there will be the ever popular Spooky Passage Experience, Tarot Reading, Traditional Halloween Games & Scavenger Hunts in the grounds. All ages can come dressed to kill and have the chance of winning a prize.
