Clubland vocalists set for Galashiels
GALASHIELS is set to host one of the biggest club nights of the year in the Borders.
Kelly Llorenna, former lead singer of chart-toppers N-Trance, and Ultrabeat vocalist Rebecca Rudd, will headline a huge night of live dance, at Move Music Venue on Saturday, October 29.
The Halloween spook-tacular was originally set to be held at the Town Hall in Hawick. But organisers have announced they have switched the gig to Galashiels by public demand. The opening hours have now been extended from 1am to 3am and tickets have been slashed from £15 to £10.
Kelly Llorenna is probably best known for providing the vocals on N-Trance's massive club anthem Set You Free. But she has also sung for many different artists including Flip & Fill, Force & Styles and Love To Infinity.
She packed out Move Music Venue in Galashiels when she performed there two years ago. And last year she headlined one of the biggest clubs on the planet - BCM in Magaluf.
Meanwhile, Rebecca Rudd continues to front Ultrabeat who are best known for hits such as Pretty Green Eyes, Feelin' Fine and Discolights.
Both regularly feature on dance compilations such as Clubland and Ministry of Sound.
They will be supported by local DJs Dave McIver and Gary Edgar on the night and revellers are being encouraged to dress up in their hottest Halloween clubbing clobber for the occasion.
Anyone who bought tickets for the Hawick gig must return them to the outlet they purchased them from to receive a full refund. Entry to the gig in Galashiels, which is open between 10pm and 3am, is priced £10 on the door. No tickets will be sold in advance.
