THEY are one of the most successful bands to ever come out of the Borders.

And they're finally coming home.

Frightened Rabbit have been playing to sell out audiences on both sides of the Atlantic for the past four or five years.

But, despite the huge fanbase in their hometown of Selkirk the Hutchison brothers, Grant and Scott, Billy Kennedy, Andy Monaghan and Gordon Skeene haven't played at any local venue.

That will change in September when they finally make a homecoming at the Victoria Hall.

Grant said: "We just always seemed to be too busy to find a date. Playing in Selkirk is something we've wanted to do for years."

The small September tour also takes in dates at Manchester, London and Dumfries.

They arrive in Selkirk on Tuesday, September 25 - tickets are now on sale.
