SCOTTISH Borders Council’s (SBC) Libraries and Museums staff are inviting families to travel back in time to the 1960s this Saturday 14 June.

The latest fun-packed session of LLAMAS, or Loads of Library and Museum Activities on Saturdays, will explore life in the coolest decade of the 20th Century.

Swing along to Duns Library between 10-11.30am to enjoy 60s-themed games, music and dancing with LLAMAS. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their grooviest threads to celebrate the last LLAMAS event before the summer holidays.

LLAMAS sessions combine arts and crafts with storytelling to help families with children of all ages explore different topics, from popular children’s novels and comics to technology and history. LLAMAS will be back in Duns after the summer break on Saturday 20 September. The session is free and there is no need to book, however children under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult.

With so much to do during the session, staff are urging families to arrive in time for a prompt 10am start. Duns Library Contact Centre is at 49 Newtown Street, Duns TD11 3AU.
