A RADIO Borders listener is £2500 richer after spending the week handcuffed to a life-sized cardboard cut out of movie superstar Gerard Butler.

Caroline Robertson, 28, from Tweedbank, was selected to represent Radio Borders in a national competition to celebrate the release of the new movie, The Bounty Hunter.

The competition ran across Bauer Radio Stations in Scotland, including Clyde 1 and Forth One all last week. Her mission was to collect as many pictures as possible whilst handcuffed to Gerard Butler, in different situations - at landmarks, with celebrities, on public transport etc.

Each scenario was worth a different amount of points and listeners could follow her progress with updates on Radio Borders and by following her on Twitter.

Across the week, Caroline, who enlisted her mum as her photographer, visited the Scottish Parliament, Murrayfield, Hibernian's Easter Road, numerous supermarkets, and public toilets. However, following her boyfriend Nick's call to Hearts FC, Caroline was allowed access to their Riccarton training ground and was pictured alongside players, ex-players, and management - including Jim Jefferies.

As a result, Caroline gained a massive 539 points on the final day to finish with 644 points. Caroline was revealed as the winner by Radio Borders presenter, Romeo, during his In:Demand show on Friday evening.

A delighted Caroline said: "It's been an exhausting but fantastic week having to juggle work and getting out and about with Gerard, but it has all been worthwhile - I'm getting married in October, so the money will be able to pay for a honeymoon or something for the new house."
