SHE was this year named BBC Radio Two’s Folk Singer of the Year.

And this weekend Bella Hardy will headline the Christmas concert at String Jam Club with her band, in the County Hotel, in Selkirk.

And everyone is invited.

The gig, which marks the club’s first year in its new venue following its move from Galashiels, will be staged on Friday, December 12. Doors open at 7.30pm.

String Jam Club host Allie Fox said: “Having now released five acclaimed albums, it’s a huge pleasure to be welcoming back this outstanding artist with in a fabulous trio line-up, which features Anna Massie (guitar & vocals) and Angus Lyon (keyboard & accordion).
