CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of our latest competitions.

We teamed up with Baxters in Selkirk to give you the chance to win £200 worth of vouchers to spend in store.

And we had a soup-er number of entries.

We asked: What is the last date to order your Baxters hamper for Christmas? The correct answer was December 13.

The first four correct entries to be drawn are as follows: Yvonne Sneddon, of Forest Gardens, Galashiels; Alice Hardie, of Priorswalk, Melrose; Bill Bryson, of Williambank, Earlston; and Ian Drummond, of Lauderdale Drive, Lauder.

They will each receive vouchers worth £50.

Meanwhile, David Williamson, of Scott Crescent, Selkirk, has won a Harris Tweed jacket - worth £250.

He correctly answered Sherlock Holmes was the name of the famous detective who wore the hand woven label.

Thanks to everyone who entered. For those unlucky on this occasion, check out this week's paper for more competitions.
