A SOUP-ER Christmas is in store for some of our readers this week.

Last week we teamed up with Baxters in Selkirk to offer you the chance to win £200 worth of vouchers to spend in store. And it proved to be one of the most popular competitions of the year.

We asked how many days a week is Baxters in Selkirk open? The correct answer is seven. Thanks to everyone who braved the snow to enter. We had scores of entries.

The first eight names drawn at random after the closing date, each winning a voucher for £25, were as follows: Hazel Galloway, of Church Square, Galashiels; Kathryn Purdie, of Halliburton Place, Galashiels; and Flo Dickson, of Glenfield Road East, Galashiels; Agnes Waldie, of Tower Road, Darnick; Alison Stables, of Clerklands, Melrose; Helen McDonald, of Rhymers Avenue, Earlston; Andrew Richardson, of Roberts Avenue, Selkirk; and Anne Baxter, of Duns Road, Greenlaw.

Congratulations! Your prizes are in the post. Pick up a copy of this week's Border Telegraph for the chance to win a £75 gift voucher from Royal Mail. Next week, we are also giving away tickets to the Hogmanay street party in Edinburgh.
