CRAWFORD George (Melrose) Tragically, as the result of a road traffic accident, at the Royal Stoke Hospital on Sunday 7th October 2018, George, aged 20 years, dearly beloved son of Cameron and Mary, adored brother of Lucinda, loving grandson to Esther and the late John Crawford and Peter and Susan Manners (Deanfoot, Denholm), a much loved nephew, cousin and friend to many. Interment in Wairds Cemetery, Melrose on Tuesday 30th October at 11.00am followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Melrose Parish Church at 1.00pm to which all friends are respectfully invited. Pink shirts welcome in memory of George. Donations if desired will be received on retiring from service for Riding for the Disabled and the Injured Jockey's Fund. A reception will be held in Melrose Rugby Club afterwards, to which all are warmly invited.
