MACKAY Ronald (Galashiels) Ronald died on 14 June 2019, aged 96, peacefully in St John's Care Home after a prolonged period of ill health. Ronald formerly lived at Glenfield Court, Galashiels and Ayr. Loving husband to the late Betty, dad to Ken, father-in-law of Lorayne, proud grampa of 2, great-grampa of 4, and great great-grampa of 1. He was a true gentleman who lived a good life and will be sadly missed and gladly remembered. Grateful thanks to all the staff at St John's Care Home, Melrose for their exceptional care. At Ronald's request, a small private funeral has already been held.
