HASTIE - Olive (Galashiels) Peacefully at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on Sunday 15th March, 2020, Olive, aged 86, beloved wife of the late Dod, dear mum of Keith and Bruce and a much loved granny and mother-in-law. A service will take place on Friday 3rd April , at Eastlands Cemetery at 11.00am, to which all family and close friends are invited. Family flowers only please.

A beautiful woman who was a champion for those worse off than herself. I was privileged to have been asked to be her election agent when she stood for the Labour Party in the local council elections and she was a committed member and representative of textile workers in the Transport & General Workers Union. Rest in Peace, Olive my thoughts are with your family,
