BIRRELL George (Galashiels) After a short illness at Borders General Hospital on Friday 26th November 2021, George, beloved husband of Betty, much loved dad of Fiona and Evonne and father-in-law to John. Loving papa to Katie and Gregor. Funeral service will take place at Borders Crematorium on Thursday 9th December at 11am to which all friends are welcome.

Immense sadness hearing of George’s passing. He was a great character who will always be remembered with fondness by many.
Please Betty and family accept of sincere condolences. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend the ceremony at Melrose, but will catch up later.
