MELROSE George (formerly Stow) Peacefully at Grange Hall Care Home on 10th July 2022, George, beloved husband of the late Christina, much loved dad of John and Kevin, loving grandfather of Euan and Andrew, great-grandfather of Elsie and a dear father-in-law of May and Carole. Service in St Mary of Wedale Parish Church, Stow on Monday 8th August at 12.30pm, interment thereafter in Stow Cemetery at 1.30pm. All friends are respectfully invited.Tributes

Dear John, Kevin and families,
We are saddened to hear of George's passing and send our condolences to you all.
We have very fond memories of George over decades of village life and especially through his involvement with the Sports Committee, Pipe Band and companion of Uncle Jackie.
Unfortunately we are on holiday on the funeral date but our thoughts are with you at this sad time.
