LAST weekend the curtain was brought down on the local music and arts festival Stowed Out.

Organisers celebrated the success of this year’s event with a post-festival gig held in the Stow Town Hall.

Special guests attended the gig, including singer song writer Luna Delirious from Edinburgh who performed a storming set.

The volunteers and organisers from the small boutique festival were thanked for their hard work with a fantastic performance by Luna.

Her heart-broken lyrics mixed with her enchanting voice and sound were the perfect way to celebrate the success of Stowed Out 2016.

Her performance was breathtaking, captivating the audience from the moment she started playing.

Luna, who is only 20 years old, has big things coming her way.

She played a gig at Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh a few days after the wrap party.

The weekend wrap party was packed with music fans and the people who make Stowed Out possible.

While it started off as a small festival, Stowed Out has now grown into something very special with over 50 acts asking to play one of the 13 slots.

The festival continues to expand with audiences growing year on year.

The Stowed Out committee are always looking out for up and coming artists like Luna Delirious and introducing them to the Borders.

Information regarding the festival can be found on the Stowed Out Facebook page.
