ADVENTUROUS youngsters from Tweedbank are the stars of a new book by celebrated author Alastair Jamieson., writes Eve Wemyss.

The book was written and designed in a unique style by Alastair.

It tells the story of a child’s first day at Tweedbank Early Learners and all the fun, experience and learning all of the children enjoy.

Alastair is a parent of one of the children and has graciously given the copyright of the book to Tweedbank Early Learners to support their fund raising activities.

Alastair operates a business to create personalised books for individuals and groups and his publications are highly colourful, artisitc and very entertaining.

His books are one-of-a- kind and special for individuals and groups alike.

The book, which is priced at £6.99, will support the ongoing work of Tweedbank Early Learners ensuring the children will have an even better experience.

Alastair Jamieson, the book’s author, said: “I was delighted to work with Tweedbank Early Learners on the new book.

“The group provide a fantastic setting for pre-school children and it is a brilliant environment in Tweedbank.

“I am very keen to work with other individuals and groups to help them develop personalised publications for their needs, and these books provide a very special insight for a great many individuals and groups alike.”

Tweedbank Early Learners are an Early Learning and Childcare setting for two – five year olds, and they provide a safe play and learning environment.

The group is based at Tweedbank Community Centre and provides both funded and non-funded sessions.

They have an exciting play room and new outside garden.

“Our play room and dedicated garden is equipped to a very high standard and fun and learning are at the heart of all that we do.
