THE Met Office have issued weather warnings of snow and strong winds for the Border region for later this week.
The weather service have warned that it could lead to "very poor travel conditions" in parts of Scotland and England.
Two yellow "Be Aware" warnings have been made, starting from 6pm on Wednesday, January 11 until midday on Friday, January 13.
The first warning expects wind gusts of up to 55mph across exposed coastal areas, plus up to two inches of snow possible and up to eight inches on higher ground.
The Met Office have also said that lightning could also follow heavy showers which may cause potential disruption to power supplies.
The second warning, issued from noon on Thursday, January 12 could see further snowfall through until noon on Friday, January 13.
