A 28-year-old man has been remanded in custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court after being accused of 15 motoring offences.
Stuart McCutcheon, 28, of Beech Avenue, Galashiels, is charged with driving while disqualified, dangerous driving and the theft of a motor vehicle as well as a number of other road traffic offences.
They are alleged to have been committed in Galashiels and elsewhere between March 31 and Sunday, April 9.
McCutcheon made no plea and the case was continued for further examination during a private hearing.
Bail was refused and he was remanded in custody by Sheriff Derrick McIntyre.
