A JEDBURGH man has appeared in private at the town's sheriff court accused of theft by housebreaking.
Thirty-nine-year-old Gary Clark is charged on petition with the offence.
He made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
Clark was remanded in custody and expected to appear in court again next week.
