NOMINATIONS are invited for healthcare workers in the NHS Borders Celebrating Excellence Awards.
The ceremony, which will take place in April next year, will recognise teams and individuals who have gone the extra mile. And the health board wants the public to get involved and put names forward.
John Raine, chairman of NHS Borders, said: “Seeing what it means to someone when their name is announced as a finalist or a winner at the awards ceremony is heart warming and inspirational.”
The categories for the awards are: Person-centred Care; Primary Care Provider of the Year; Supporter of the Year; and Rising Star.
Nominations are open until midnight on January 14. Go to http://www.nhsborders.scot.nhs.uk/celebratingexcellenceawards and click on nominate; or phone 01896 828297 if you would like a paper copy of the application form.
