A 36-year-old man has been remanded in custody after admitting three offences during a disturbance in the Berwickshire village of Coldingham on Tuesday evening.
Derek Stewart - who lives at Braeheads in the village - appeared from custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court where he admitted charges of police assault, attempting to pervert the course of justice and breaching the conditions of his bail.
He was already on deferred sentence for being involved in two break-ins in Eyemouth during December.
Sentence was deferred until February 19 and bail was refused with Stewart being remanded in custody until then.
