AN Earlston man has been accused of a benefits fraud involving more than £10,000.
Alexander Leitch, of Gun Road, pleaded not guilty to receiving £4,157.02 of Jobseekers Allowance he was not entitled to between November 2012 and March 2014.
The 63-year-old also denies receiving £6418 in housing benefit and £210 in council tax benefit he was not entitled to.
A trial will take place at Selkirk Sheriff Court on March 12.
