A FLOOD warning (flooding is expected, immediate action required) has been issued by the Scottish Enviornment Protection Agency (SEPA) for the areas of Grantshouse and Eyemouth.
The Eye Water is running high following rainfall and snow melt.
There is also a risk to low lying land and roads near to the Eye Water from Grantshouse to Eyemouth.
Harbour Road in Eyemouth is the main area at risk from flooding.
Businesses near to the harbour and vessels moored within the harbour may be at risk.
Scottish Borders Council's nearest local sandbag store is located at the Fire Station on Coldingham Road in Eyemouth.
Advice from SEPA states: "Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.
"Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188."
The Floodline quick dial number for this area of Berwickshire is 23425.
Across the rest of the Borders, a flood alert (flooding is possible, be prepared) still remains in place.
UPDATE: The A1 from Belford to Haggerston is closed due to flooding.
