AN EYEMOUTH man has denied assaulting his mother and brother on New Year's Day.
Barry McArthur, 22, is accused of pulling his mother to the floor, striking her head against a wall and punching her on the face to her injury.
He is also said to have bitten his brother on the arm.
The assaults are alleged to have taken place at his home in Callercove Cresent.
McArthur faces a third charge of struggling violently with two police constables.
A trial date has been fixed for June 14 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing on May 14.
