POLICE have confirmed that a missing Galashiels man has been found safe and well.
Thomas Johnstone, 68, was last seen in the Kelso area on Saturday, May 6, and on Monday (May 7), an appeal was launched to help find him.
In an update on Wednesday, May 9, Police Scotland said: "Thanks to the public for the assistance in locating the 68-year-old male reported missing from the Galashiels area.
"He has been traced safe and well by officers."
