39-year-old faces sexual assault charge
A 39-year-old man has appeared in private at Jedburgh Sheriff Court charged with sexual assault and assault to severe injury.
Olegs Bosakovs, who gave an address in Berwickshire, made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
He was released on bail and no date has yet been given for his next appearance in court.
