The Cancer Research store will celebrate 30 years in the town next week
A PEEBLES charity shop has brewed up plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary in the town.
The Cancer Research shop, based in the High Street, will mark its birthday with a special tea and cake event on Tuesday afternoon at 2.30pm.
Debby Strain, manager of the store, said: “We will be celebrating being open 30 years and also winning the national award for ‘Shop of the year’ from Monday to Saturday (August 20-25), and will be running special promotions every day.
“We would also invite anyone who has been involved with the Cancer Research Shop to come along for tea and cake and a get together for a reminisce.”
