WITNESSES are being sought following a 'serious road traffic collision' on the A7.
The collision, which occured four miles north of Langholm at around 8.15pm on Tuesday, August 21, involved a white Isuza D-Max pickup and a Range Rover Sport.
The driver of the pickup, a 33-year-old man from Skelmersdale in West Lancashire, England, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Constable Ashley Broatch of the Roads Policing Team said: "Following the collision the A7 was closed for five hours while emergency services worked at the scene."
Police are keen to speak to anyone that saw the vehicles prior to the collision.
