THE trial of a Galashiels man accused of drug dealing offences has been adjourned until December.
Fifty three year old John Tunniciliffe was due to stand trial at Jedburgh Sheriff Court this morning but it has been delayed for three months to allow more time for preparations.
He denies being concerned in the supply of heroin at his Hawthorn Road home between January 1, 2017, and December 4, 2017.
Tunnicliffe also pleaded not guilty to being being concerned in the supply of diazepam and alprazolam against at Hawthorn Road between November 19 and December 4.
He is further charged with attempting to being concerned in the supply of a drug he believed to contain diamorphine and also supplying cannabis to others.
Tunnicliffe has lodged a special defence of incrimination.
