A GALASHIELS woman has been ordered to give up her car keys after being accused of two drink driving offences in the space of two months.
June McKain has been told she cannot drive a vehicle until the outcome of her trial in November.
The 58-year-old of Ladhope Crescent, appeared from custody at Selkirk Sheriff Court where she pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving with a breath/alcohol count of 42 microgrammes - the legal limit being 22 - on Saturday.
She was released on bail which had the special conditions of not driving and giving up her car keys.
McKain was already waiting trial on a charge of driving while more than four times the legal limit.
The offence is alleged to have been committed in the Asda Car Park in Galashiels on July 19.
An intermediate hearing has been fixed for October 22.
