A GALASHIELS teenager who admitted possession of ecstasy with intent to supply has been ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.
Finlay Christie, 18, pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to the offence at his home at William Law Gardens on December 21.
He also admitted importing cocaine and methamphetamine.
Procurator fiscal Graham Fraser said Customs and Excise officers intercepted a parcel which had been sent from Holland and it was found to contain white powder.
It later emerged it was four grammes of cocaine and seven grammes of methamphetamine.
Mr Fraser said police obtained a search warrant for Christie's home and he showed them a bag of tablets containing 133 Ecstasy tablets with a value of around £1300.
Sheriff Kevin Drummond said the sentence was an alternative to custody.
