POLICE are advising caution despite the A7 re-opening after a three-vehicle crash earlier this morning.
Although traffic is now being allowed through the crash-site, between Stow and Fountainhall, there is still oil spillage on the carriageway.
Vehicles for cleaning the road surface are en-route.
The A7 was closed in both directions for almost four hours following the incident at 7.40am this morning.
A 30-year-old man was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Others were treated at the scene.
