A 43-year-old man has been remanded in custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court after being accused of breaching his bail conditions on 10 occasions.
Alexander Wood, of no fixed abode, is charged on petition and made no plea during a brief private hearing.
The case was continued for further examination and bail was refused by Sheriff Peter Paterson resulting in Wood being remanded in custody.
The bail conditions were imposed last May after Wood appeared in court charged with assaulting three former partners over a period of 15 years at addresses in Hawick and Selkirk and is currently awaiting trial.
