AN Innerleithen woman who admitted assaulting her husband has been ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Shauna Pirie pleaded guilty to the offence which happened at the family home at Kirklands on Monday, September 3.
The 50-year-old repeatedly punched him on the head and kicked him on the body.
Sheriff Peter Paterson warned her that if she was back in court on a domestic matter while under the influence of alcohol she would be going to jail.
