BOSSES at Eildon Housing are set to unveil detailed plans for a major development in Earlston.
Earlier this year the Selkirk-based social landlord acquired the former High School site for a knock-down £450,000 from the local authority.
And they indicated at the time that between 50 and 55 rentable properties could be accommodated on the land.
Eildon have this week submitted a Planning Advice Note with Scottish Borders Council indicating a full application will be forthcoming.
Next month they will also hold a public consultation meeting in Earltson Church Hall to reveal the plans as well as address the town's community council meeting on November 15.
The value of the development is estimated to be in the region of £7 million.
