Teenager accused of assaulting police officer in Tesco
A GALASHIELS teenager will stand trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court accused of assaulting a police officer.
Dario Durante is also charged with threatening or abusive behaviour at his home in Croft Street and in a police vehicle on September 8.
The 19-year-old denies assaulting a police officer by kicking her on the leg at Tesco and struggling violently with other officers.
A trial has been set for January 10 with an intermediate hearing on December 17.
Bail was granted with the special condition that he is not allowed more than one person to be within his home between the hours of 7pm. and 7am.
