A HAWICK man has been accused of driving while almost SEVEN times the legal alcohol limit.
Robert McLeod, 37, of Stonefield Place, denies driving with a breath/alcohol count of 145 microgrammes - the legal limit being 22.
The offence is alleged to have been committed at the Borders General Hospital car park on October 16 and on the A7 at Ashkirk.
A trial date has been set for January 29 at Selkirk Sheriff Court with an intermediate hearing on January 14.
