A GALASHIELS congregation is commemorating the centenary of the end of World War One with a special window display.
The display was created for Hope Church's Remembrance project as part of the Gala Remembers 2018 Programme.
Visitors at the Church's drop-in cafe as well as pupils from St Peter's Primary helped create 639 crosses, representing each of the fallen from Galashiels, decorated in the town's colours of white and black
The 639 crosses were mounted on a red backdrop and were displayed for the week leading up to Armistice Day.
Beside the display is the message '1914-1918 - Their dreams became your tomorrows. All they would ask is that you should never forget what they gave'.
Hope Central is the church's Community Drop In cafe at 1-3 Overhaugh Street.
And it is open for all members from Tuesday to Friday between 12 noon and 4pm.
